$2.45 million price reduction to Lurssen's superyacht Blind Date at Peter Insull and IYC

Jane Hardy at Peter Insull's Yacht Marketing sends news of a massive $2.45 million cut in the price of Lurssen's 40.94m motor yacht Blind Date, a joint central listing with International Yacht Collection. Says Jane, “Immaculately maintained and looking fabulous, Blind Date has also just completed her annual dry-docking and class surveys. She is ready to go cruising right away. Commercial registration and a proven charter history along with this new dramatic price reduction, have to make Blind Date the next yacht to sell before the summer season gets underway."

This superyacht is a combination of European pedigree and American interior design. Originally built in Germany in 1995 for a European owner, she was superbly maintained and was even stored ashore under cover during the winter months. Under new American ownership she was refitted in 2005. The interior of the yacht was completely rebuilt under the careful eye of designer Patrick Knowles and transformed to create the cool and calm ambiance which makes her rather special today.

Blind Date is a fast sleek yacht with a top speed of 22 knots - her shallow draft grants access to those quiet bays and coves inaccessible to many. She accommodates eight guests in a master, VIP and two double cabins and has a range of 1,600 nautical miles at 10 knots. Previously marketed at $12.95 million, she's now asking $10.5 million.
