Squalo

July 20th saw me report that Matt Albert and Will Allen at Yachting Partners International had signed a joint central agency for sale of the 35.8m motor yacht Squalo and now news arrives of a price cut.

Squalo was built by Azimut in 2005 to a design by Stefano Righini and is RINA classed. This superyacht’s interior, by the renowned Carlo Galeazzi, comfortably sleeps 10 guests in five double cabins, all with en-suite facilities. Squalo’s twin 2,000hp MTU engines and efficient planing hull deliver a maximum speed of 25 knots. The yacht also offers plenty of light and space throughout. “It feels exceptionally spacious and airy,” says Will Allen. “The full beam mid-ships owner’s cabin has large through hull windows that fill the area with lots of natural light; the long run of the flybridge is ideal for lovers of the sun. There is also more space for relaxing in the cockpit area, with a large table seating twelve.” Sailing with a crew of five, the yacht’s asking price is now €5.6 million, down from €5.9 million.
