The 53.4 metre motor yacht Tales has changed central agencies and is now listed for sale by Burgess.
Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Tales is a full displacement yacht built in steel and aluminium by Turkish superyacht yard Turquoise Yachts to ABS class and delivered in 2002 with a full refit in 2012. MCA compliant, she accommodates 12 guests in six cabins. The full beam master suite unusually also houses a VIP suite, making her an ideal family yacht and there are a further three doubles and a twin, all with en suite bathroom facilities. The interior was designed by Donald Starkey and is bright and contemporary, offering a calm and soothing ambience.
Deck spaces are outstanding with several areas for al fresco entertaining and dining, aided by a Jacuzzi tub, bar and barbecue. The main saloon leads out through double sliding glass doors to the aft deck and has large windows on two sides, creating panoramic views. Separated from the main saloon by sliding shoji-screen doors, the glamorous dining room boasts a stunning brass inlaid oval table and overhead mirror for entertaining up to 12 guests in style.
The 2012 refit was extensive and included rebuilding the main saloon, master suite and upper aft deck along with new furnishings and soft goods throughout. In addition, her hull and superstructure were repainted in 2011.
Twin Caterpillar 1,500hp engines give Tales a cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Lying in the Eastern Mediterranean, Tales is asking €15 million with VAT paid.
