It's taken a while to get this information, but now I have confirmation that Swiss-based broker Floating Life is offering for sale a new-build 40m motor yacht currently under construction at the Rodriquez yard in Italy.
The Rodriquez 40 has been designed by Filippo Rossi and is aimed at an owner wanting a light and bright superyacht complete with heli pad. She features a large full beam saloon with wide windows and accommodation is for 10 guests in five staterooms including a full beam master suite. Due for delivery in 2011, the Rodriquez 40 will have a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 13 knots and is listed at €12 million.
