News in from Efthimis Karalis at A1 Yacht Trade Consortium that he’s signed the 33m ketch-rigged sailing yacht Amazon for sale.
Built by the Lidingoverken yard in 1949, she was refitted in 1975 and 1989 with a major rebuild in 2004/2005. Efthimis says she's capable of high speeds in the water but is equally comfortable while cruising and accommodates 12 guests in five cabins. These comprise four doubles and a twin plus two Pullman berths and all cabins have en suite facilities with showers.
Under power, Amazon has twin 330hp Caterpillar engines giving her a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Amazon is asking €2,250,000.
