A call to Alex Busher at Edmiston & Company brings news that he's signed a joint listing for sale on the 24m sailing yacht Matelot with Pegaso in Italy.

Launched in September 2005, Matelot is the second unit built by Southern Wind Shipyards from the successful SW80 deck saloon series.

She's an avant-garde cruiser, combining the naval architecture of Farr Yacht Design with the refined Italian styling of Nauta Design, who created the general concept of the project, the exterior styling and the interior design.

The saloon, surrounded by panoramic windows, is the heart of social life aboard. The owner and his guests may relax sitting on the comfortable settees, enjoying the high-quality finish of the renowned Southern Wind Shipyards joinery. Accommodation is for six guests in a master suite and two twin staterooms.

Available to view in the South of France this winter, Matelot is asking €2,950,000.
