Seven of the finest classic Feadship superyachts for sale

To own a classic Feadship is to own a piece of maritime history – and there are plenty of yachts available on the brokerage market for prospective buyers looking to give a new lease of life to a vintage vessel. BOAT handpicks five of the Dutch yard's classic yachts currently listed for sale that have been lovingly (and painstakingly) restored by owners looking to pass the torch on to a new custodian.

A2

Length: 47m
Year: 1983

Initially launched as Circus II from the Dutch shipyard, A2 underwent a comprehensive rebuild in 2012 at Pendennis, including new systems, a hull extension, restyled superstructure, a fresh blue hull, and a fully renewed interior. The project was for owners who were fond of the 1980s classic Feadship profile lines, but requested more modern amenities onboard. One of which included clever gimballed wine storage spheres, one of the many touches added during the rebuild, as well as a unique Peter Marino interior combining teak and bronze.

A further refit, with “no expense spared,” in 2022 continued with upgrades, adding the latest equipment and systems, as well as further interior enhancements and exterior refurbishments. A2 can accommodate 15 guests across 5 cabins, and her 9 crew have maintained her since the rebuild - a Feadship for sale that will continue to age gracefully for a new owner.

A2 is asking $16,900,000 with Edmiston.

Calypso

Length: 38.4m
Year: 1978

The steel-and-aluminium classic yacht Calypso was designed by De Voogt for an automotive millionaire, E. Clayton Gengras, and has a colourful, impressive backstory. Since delivery, she has hosted royalty and Hollywood icons, before spending the early 2000s in family ownership, working alongside National Geographic on remote expeditions. Well-maintained and thoughtfully modernised, the yacht for sale has undergone a series of refits over the years, always preserving her unmistakable Feadship aesthetic while improving her for modern-day demands.

She returned to the market late 2025 following a “meticulous, multi-million dollar” refit project that included hull upgrades, new transom doors, fresh teak decks, and extensive interior enhancements. The forward main-deck dining room was converted into a spacious owner’s suite, with the former now serving as a VIP suite. The main saloon has been refreshed and boasts a bright and airy atmosphere. On deck, Calypso has a Jacuzzi, barbecue, lounging space, alfresco dining and entertainment spaces, an outdoor cinema, and a newly redesigned bar. Accommodation is for up to 11 guests across five cabins, with a charming sixth “Harry Potter” cabin adding a cosy addition for an extra guest.

Calypso is asking $9,990,000 with Camper & Nicholsons.

Santa Maria

Length: 33.2m
Year: 1963

At the time of her launch in 1963, Santa Maria was the most expensive Feadship ever built. The yacht marked a turning point in the Dutch yard's popularity in the American market, commissioned by automobile tycoon Henry Ford II and designed to be "a place like home". Her French Jacques Frank-designed interiors – resembling those of an old chateau – were unlike anything ever seen before, and she still makes an impact 60 years later.

With naval architecture and exterior design from the young work of Frits de Voogt, the 33.2-metre now combines classic Feadship lines with modern capabilities thanks to a series of refits and upgrades, including new generators (2023), electric zero-speed stabilisers (2021) and main engines (2019).

Santa Maria is asking €4,495,000 with Edmiston.

Nereus

Length: 31.1m
Year: 1969

Delivered in 1969 to a design from De Voogt, this heritage vessel joined the market at the beginning of 2025. Nereus was reinstated to her former glory following an extensive 2021 refit, which saw her restored from the keel up at a cost exceeding $20,000,000. She has been well-maintained throughout her life, with other refit works also completed in 2004 and 2018. Standout features include a climate-controlled sunroom, a large, naturally lit main saloon, and a versatile formal dining room – adaptable depending on owner needs.

Nereus harbours extensive entertainment systems across all cabins, in addition to an engine room that the broker describes as "reminiscent of a brand-new 39.6-metre superyacht". Her welcoming interiors provide a seamless transition with her exteriors – both adorned in teak – complemented by elegant neutral fabrics and high-quality marbles. Notably, she was the first Feadship to cross the Atlantic: championing her seaworthy name, which was taken from the mythological Greek God of the sea.

Nereus is asking $4,500,000 with Fraser.

Atalanta J

Length: 25.4m
Built: 1958

One of the oldest Feadships available is the iconic wooden motor yacht Atalanta J. When launched in 1958, the 25.4-metre was the largest motor yacht under construction in Holland at the time. Having a reputable title before even hitting the water, Atalanta J soon proved her sea-keeping abilities with her owner single-handedly crossing the Atlantic on board four times. She has undergone several refits since her delivery, including a two-year refit in 2007 and further works in 2014, which included an increase in storage capacity and seating.

Atalanta J is asking €750,000 with Edmiston and De Valk Loosdrecht.

Bluemar II

Length: 38.5m
Year: 1978

The 38.5-metre Bluemar II joined the market in October 2023 for the very first time since her delivery in 1978. One of the coveted Feadship Heritage Fleet, this pedigree motor yacht has been lovingly maintained by her original owners for over 45 years. Designed with distinct zones for relaxation, entertainment and adventure, Bluemar II features wooden finishes and plush sofas for a warm, classic ambience. She offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin. According to her brokers, this yacht is not just a vessel; she is a piece of yachting history".

Bluemar II is asking €4,900,000 with Northrop & Johnson.

Valeria

Length: 44.2m
Year: 1975

The 44.2-metre Valeria is a superyacht of many firsts. She became the first Feadship with an interior designed by Cannes-based architect Pierre Tanter, which marked the start of a long relationship between the designer and the yard, whilst also taking the crown as the first superyacht with an on board private helicopter. Following 25 years as a Libyan presidential yacht, Valeria was purchased in 2005 with plans to transform her into a modern vessel within her original Feadship lines.

Retaining her distinctive exterior, Valeria has already been restored to as-new condition, completely redesigned and refitted to suit modern tastes, including an extension to her hull for a swim platform, a new upper deck, and the addition of a spa pool. She can accommodate 12 guests and is primed and ready for a new owner.
