Sunseeker Germany sells 33m superyacht in China

29 July 2010 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

An encouraging sign of a new market opening up as Sunseeker Germany tells me that their Shanghai office has sold the 33m Sunseeker Predator 108 Special Edition in what they claim is the largest and most luxurious motor yacht ever sold in mainland China.

Admired earlier this year at the London Boat Show, this superyacht features a champagne-coloured gelcoat. Handed over to her new owners on July 17th 2010 and now named Wanda 2, she was sold to Dalian Wanda Group, one of the largest real estate developers in China, priced in excess of £7 million. Time to establish a relationship with a well-connected  local business?

Putting our money where our mouth is, Boat International Media has teamed up with Edipresse Asia in Hong Kong to launch a new Chinese language edition of Boat International this September. With 89 billionaires, China has more Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals than any other country outside the USA. We aim to help you tap into the rapidly growing wealth of this dynamic market.
