The 33.9-metre Sunseeker motor yacht Frivolous has been sold in-house at Yachtsmen International, with managing director Scott Wellington-Stones representing both the buyer and seller.
Delivered in 2009 by the UK shipyard, Frivolous was constructed in GRP to a design by Don Shead. She underwent an extensive refit in 2021, with previous refit works completed in 2016.
Frivolous is one of 16 yachts from the British yard's 34-metre model, which is noted to be "one of the most popular series of yachts that the shipyard has ever constructed".
Accommodation on board is for 10 guests across a five-cabin layout and a crew of six in three cabins. Her guest cabins are "well-appointed", comprising a main deck master suite with a private lounge, two VIP cabins and two twins, all with en suite and entertainment systems.
Her interiors are characterised by rich gloss cherry wood, a neutral colour palette that includes cream leather upholstery and ambient lighting, resulting in a "refined yet comfortable" atmosphere on board.
The large main saloon features a formal dining area and a comfortable lounge space complete with "advanced" entertainment systems, all bathed in light thanks to full-height windows. A highlight of the living areas on board is her flybridge, which offers panoramic views, a Jacuzzi, wet bar, dining table, sun loungers and a retractable sunroof beneath a hardtop.
For those seeking a cooler outdoor experience, the aft deck – equipped for al fresco dining – benefits from cover from the flybridge overhang. A sizeable swim platform is located at the stern, providing easy water access from the tender and water toys as well as offering another lounge come dining space close to the water.
Powered by twin MTU engines with 2,400hp each, the motor yacht can achieve a top speed in excess of 24 knots. She cruises comfortably at 16 knots with a range of up to 1,250 nautical miles and is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers for additional enjoyment. The motor yacht is also RINA-certified until 2029.
Frivolous was last asking €3,990,000 with Australian GST paid.
