Superyacht Blind Date has $1 million price cut at Peter Insull's and IYC

Jane Hardy at Peter Insull's Yacht Marketing tells me that the owner of the 40.94m motor yacht Blind Date has authorised a $1 million price cut.

Originally built by Lürssen in 1995, she had a major refit in 2005 which included a new, contemporary interior designed by Patrick Knowles. She accommodates eight guests in a master, VIP and two double cabins. She has been a very successful charter yacht, and Jane tells me that although she has been withdrawn from the charter market, enquiries continue to come in.

Previously marketed at $10.5 million, she's now asking $9.5 million. As Jane says, "a pedigree yacht at an exceptional price."
