The 24.9-metre Swan 82 sailing yacht Stay Calm has been sold in-house with Alastair Shove of Carrswood Yachts.
Designed by renowned naval architect Germán Frers, the GRP and carbon composite sloop was built in Finland by Nautor Swan and delivered in 2005. The ninth unit from the Swan 82 series, Stay Calm is finished with a light grey hull topped by a raked white coachroof and flush teak decks. She was significantly refitted in 2023 and 2024 at Nautor Swan’s refit facility in Badalona, Spain.
Her layout includes four guest cabins for an owner’s party of eight, the whole interior being finished in trademark Swan style with satin varnish, curved corners and well-thought-out seating.
The master cabin is situated aft, forward of which are two twin cabins, while a further guest double cabin is found forward of the saloon. The main saloon on board is cleverly designed: bench seating around a dining table to port offers a welcoming space for formal dinners, with a comfortable lounge space to starboard.
On deck, twin cockpit tables can open to form a large dining table or be lowered to create a giant guest sunpad. On the foredeck, there is plenty of open space for sunbathing, or guests could opt for the opening transom-cum-swim platform for a spot closer to the water.
Twin helm stations aft of the deck provide the helmsman with a good view around the spray hood and over the sleek coachroof – the main sheet winch well clear of guests.
The sailing yacht, displacing 37GT, has a 180hp Cummins diesel. Her carbon-fibre rig is by Offshore Spars and her EC6 carbon standing rigging was re-sheathed during her refit, with a new carbon-fibre Future Fibres headstay added.
Stay Calm was last asking €1,550,000.
