The 27.7-metre sailing yacht Strathisla has been sold with Thea Shaw of Nautor Swan acting for the seller and Antonis Dimitrakopoulos of Praxis Yachts representing the buyer.
The yacht was sold three months after it was listed. Designed by German Frers, Strathisla was built in carbon composite by Finnish yard Nautor Swan and delivered in 2009 as part of the yard’s Swan 90 series.
Accommodation is for up to eight guests in four cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP suite, and two twins, all with en-suite facilities. In addition, there are quarters for four crew. The light-filled saloon and dining area add to the sailing yacht’s interior comforts.
Capable of both a cruising and regatta setup, Strathisla has a range of features, including a hydraulically operated sailing and furling package with in-boom furling, South Spars EC6 rigging, and an extensive set of North Sails sails.
The deck in semi-raised saloon configuration means she is set up for short-handed sailing. She also has a lifting keel that reduces her draft to 3 metres, along with twin rudders and bow and stern thrusters to facilitate manoeuvring.
The 68GT yacht can reach a top speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots thanks to the Volkswagen diesel engine. Accompanying the engine are twin Northern Lights generators.
Strathisla was last asking €3,300,000.
