Update on motor yacht Family Day from Camper & Nicholsons

28 March 2013 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Tim Langmead at Camper & Nicholsons tells me that the 65m motor yacht Family Day has completed all her Lloyds class certification surveys during the winter yard period and has now arrived on the French Riviera.

A joint listing with Richard Higgins in Antibes, Family Day was launched by Codecasa in 2010. She offers modern and light living spaces for 14 with seven luxuriously appointed staterooms, including a master suite with balcony shell doors and six further guest cabins set out over two accommodation decks.

The tender garage happily stores all diving gear, water sports submersibles, boards, bikes and two 7 metre tenders. The bathing platform is four metres deep, offering a real beach feel and easy access to the sea. Powered by twin 2483hp Caterpillar engines Family Day has a range of 5,000 nautical mile.

Now based in Nice, Family Day is asking €43 million.
