The 36.9-metre Vitters explorer yacht Dardanella has been listed for sale with Max Bulley of Y.CO.
The Dutch pedigree vessel was constructed in aluminium in 1996 by Vitters – better known for its sailing superyachts – to designs by Vripack. She was refitted in 2018 and the broker said that "the vessel was built to explore and was not converted from another life".
Dardanella accommodates a party of up to 12 guests in five cabins, all on the lower deck, the master being full beam and having his and her bathrooms, a lounge area and office space. One of the guest cabins is a double and the other three are twins with further accommodation sleeping a crew of eight.
The main deck saloon flows into the generously proportioned dining area, with its longitudinally-positioned dining table giving guests views out both sides. A large galley is given a prime spot immediately forward.
The sundeck sports a Jacuzzi and ample sunpads for relaxation between bouts of exploring. A popular charter vessel, she is commercially compliant and has deck space for al fresco dining, yoga and workouts.
The explorer vessel is equipped with a Nitrox dive compressor, 12 sets of dive gear, underwater photography equipment and an open-air cinema. Tenders are stowed on the "versatile foredeck" that features a sturdy mast with crow's nest forward and a boom crane. The broker added that, "a shallow draft and compact size, in addition to her cosy and comfortable interior spaces, make her the ideal option for anyone who aspires to intrepid exploration".
The 283GT explorer yacht for sale has a maximum speed of 11.5 knots and cruising speed of 9.5 knots under twin Caterpillar engines. Range is 5,400 nautical miles at nine knots allowing for exceptional autonomy, cruising in remote waters.
