Jeff Stanley of Gilman Yachts sends word that the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show resulted in the sale of West Bay's 28m cockpit motor yacht Whitney B, with Claude Racine of Westport Yacht Sales introducing the buyer.
Built in 2003, she was recently redesigned to offer three staterooms with a new sitting room/library adjoining the master suite. The deal involved a trade-in vessel which is already under offer. The sale completed on December 1st 2009 and the official asking price was $2.9 million, while the eventual sale price was $2.6 million.
