The 33.8-metre high-performance sloop sailing yacht Silvertip has been sold in-house at Superyacht Partners, with broker Matt Albert representing both the seller and the buyer in the deal.

Delivered in 2002, Silvertip was constructed in composite GRP by New Zealand-based yard Yachting Developments. She features exterior design and naval architecture by the renowned Dutch design studio, Dubois Naval Architects, while her interior was finished by Agnes Comar

With only one owner since new, who has looked after her meticulously, Silvertip has undergone many maintenance works, including a "significant refit" that was completed in 2021.

Silvertip was last asking €3,900,000

Her interior offers three cabins sleeping up to seven guests, including a king-sized double master cabin aft, a double VIP cabin, a twin with bunk beds and an additional single berth.

All of the cabins are finished with Swedish pear wood, complemented by neutral fabrics and carpets with splashes of red – a theme found throughout her interior – as well as opening portholes for fresh air when at anchor.

The spacious saloon, with a red leather dining table to one side and lounge seating opposite, has "oversized hull portholes" and skylights for guests to enjoy visibility of their surroundings whilst at anchor or underway. The feel is contemporary, clean and new.

Silvertip's flush teak decks give her a sleek, racy look, as well as offering crew easy access when handling sails. The cockpit can be set up for guest dining or relaxing in the sun, while the twin helm stations are positioned just aft; sociable, if wanted, but out of the way.

A large aft deck where guests can stretch out on sunpads leads to the swim platform that may be lowered when at anchor, offering easy access to and from the water or tenders.

Sporting a carbon-fibre mast, Silvertip also boasts notched up victories at the Millennium Cup in 2009 and 2012

The 114GT, ABS-classed sailing yacht also benefits from a single 300hp Lugger diesel engine that gives her a 4,500-nautical-mile range at 10 knots without hoisting her sails. Much higher speeds are achievable under sail, with asymmetric flying from her bowsprit.

Silvertip was last asking €3,900,000.
