Brokerage market round-up: April 16-20, 2018

SALES

Nine yacht sales were announced during the past week. Although the total asking price is unclear as two yachts had their prices withheld, the total of those who were disclosed was more than £16.5 million ($22 million), with HMY Yacht Sales, Van Der Vliet Quality Yachts and Denison Yachting all completing in-house deals.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Five price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week, for a total reduction of £2.3 million ($3.3 million), although only one of these reductions was higher than £500,000 ($673,000).

Beluga received this week's biggest price cut of €1.2 million

NEW LISTINGS

Seven yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £31 million ($43.5 million), excluding one yacht with price on application. The most expensive new listing with price announced was the 54.27 metre Alloy sailing yacht Tiara, which is offered for sale with Y.CO.
