What's happening in Venice?
From 2 to 12 September, Venice holds the annual Venice Film Festival. From award ceremonies and red-carpet rollouts to world premieres and exclusive parties, the festival raises awareness of international cinema in all its forms and brings in the A-listers of Hollywood.
Multiverse

Yacht to know: At a dominating 116.2 metres, the mammoth Kleven Multiverse is hard to miss at the Venice Film Festival. Commissioned by New Zealand's wealthiest man, Graeme Hart, her rugged exterior design by Oscar Mike seems at odds with Venice's polished aesthetic, but she still features amenities such as a helicopter hangar, a spacious swimming pool, and a spa.
Able to host up to 66 guests, she boasts the title of the third-largest explorer yacht in the world. She was also one of 2024's most travelled superyachts, traversing the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Central America, including tours around Costa Rica and Baja California Sur.

Yacht to know: Built in Germany by the prestigious Lürssen yard, she was designed by the world-renowned naval architect Espen Øino while her opulent interiors were styled by Francois Zuretti. With more than 12,000 square metres of space, the superyacht doesn't shy away from spectacle.
On board, she offers a beauty salon, gym, and a generous pool to meet wellness needs, along with multiple sunpads and entertainment areas. Inside, her classic interiors hark back to old-age Hollywood, emulating decadence without contemporary garishness. Yacht to know: Lady Beatrice, designed by De Voogt Naval Architects, is made for entertaining, making her an ideal yacht to take to the highly sociable festival at the heart of Italy. Her Jon Bannenberg interiors have been "modernised and updated" in her most recent refit, with new soft furnishings and upholstery featured throughout. Large floor-to-ceiling windows fill the main saloon with natural light, and a grand piano defines the drawing room, while a formal dining area for up to 16 guests adjoins the main saloon.
Alternatively, her upper-deck saloon offers a more intimate space for gatherings, with plush seating and panoramic ocean views, providing a comfortable space for guests on board. Yacht to know: Nativa's sleek and modern superstructure features large expanses of glazed glass, which flood the interiors with light, particularly in the main social hub of the saloon. Able to host up to 10 guests, the sailing yacht offers ample space both indoors and on the decks, with a spa pool and sunpads sprinkled across the aft deck paired with an al fresco dining table.
She holds five cabins for those on board, including a full-beam master suite, two VIP suites and two twins with two Pullman berths each. All of the cabins are en suite, and one of the twin cabins can double up as an optional gym for flexibility when hosting.
