Thomas Mercer

Perhaps the world’s best known creator of marine chronometers, British brand Thomas Mercer has been the watchmaker of choice for some of history’s greatest explorers. At Top Marques Watches 2016 at the Monaco Yacht Show Thomas Mercer will be unveiling its new Legacy Atlantic Challenge Marine Chronometer. This unique model has been designed to celebrate Sir Francis Chichester’s 1971 world solo speed distance record which was broken using the brand’s chronometer No 23543 on board sailing yacht Gispy Moth V.

Franck Muller

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller will be returning to Top Marques Watches for the sixth consecutive year in 2016. After unveiling the fruits of its collaboration with the Italian Sea Group – which involved both a line of new watches and the 16 metre FMY 55 day boat – in 2015, there is much buzz about what this forward thinking watch brand will present this year.

Greubel Forsey

Founded in 1999 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, the Greubel Forsey brand made its name on unique watches with technologically advanced movements such as the patented Double Tourbillon 30 Degrees, the Output Tourbillon 24 Seconds and, most recently, the Double Pendulum 35 Degrees. With numerous awards, including multiple Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve wins, as well as collaborations with the likes of Harry Winston and Yoko Ono under its belt, Top Marques Monaco is the ideal place to discover this under-the-radar brand.
