A yard full of superyachts at Proteksan-Turquoise

7 April 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Busy times for Proteksan-Turquoise, who have launched three yachts with a combined length of 185m yard already this year: the 55.4m Turquoise, the 60.2m Yogi and the 70.54m Talisman C. They are pictured below alongside the 72.64m Vicky (project NB54), currently under construction at the Turkish yard.

Vicky is being built in steel and aluminium to a design by H2 Yacht Design. She will accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms. The full-beam master suite will be in the middle of the bridge deck with two balconies on either side. The other guest cabins will be on the main deck.

Her twin 2,447hp engines will power her to a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 7,000 nautical miles at 12 knots thanks to a fuel capacity of 204,000 litres.

We reported her sale in March 2010 and she is scheduled for delivery in 2012, when she will become the yard's flagship.
