Abbasli Design Studio has revealed Mava, a 70-metre motor yacht concept developed to balance sculptural exterior architecture, generous onboard space and a close connection to the water.
Designed entirely in-house, the yacht's exterior features a strong profile with expansive dark glazing that contrasts with her predominantly white exterior surfaces. A distinctive architectural arch flows through the superstructure, visually connecting the different decks.
The layout of her expansive aft area highlights the yacht's connection to the water, transforming it into a multi-level beach club and primary social and wellness space. In addition to providing water access, the beach club features a sauna, massage room and gym.
Inside, the designer has used an understated material palette and extensive natural light. Curved furniture and flowing ceiling geometries complement floor-to-ceiling glazing, strengthening the visual connection between the interior and the surrounding seascape. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests, with space for 14 crew members.
Ujal Abbasli, founder of Abbasli Design, said: “With Mava, we wanted to create a 70-metre yacht that feels substantial without becoming visually heavy. The connection with the sea was equally important to us, particularly around the aft decks and beach club, where the yacht becomes much more open and informal.”
Mava boasts an estimated maximum speed of approximately 16 to 17 knots, with an estimated cruising speed of approximately 13 to 14 knots.
