The 41.9-metre explorer yacht Kaşif has been seen for the first time leaving the construction shed at Bilgin Yachts ahead of her Monaco Yacht Show debut.

Kaşif, which translates to "explorer" in Turkish, is the first vessel to emerge from the shipyard's new Antalya facility and was built for a repeat client of the shipyard.

The vessel marks the eighth collaboration between Bilgin Yachts and Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design, and follows on from work on Tatiana and Leona and the in-build Bilgin 163 Eternal Spark.

The interior meanwhile sees the shipyard team up once again with Milan-based design studio Hot Lab. Kaşif is described by Hot Lab's Enrico Lumini as a "mature yacht" and "one of the most fun and stimulating projects" that the studio has undertaken. "The owners, who actively participated in every aspect, brought a unique vision to the table. Our collaboration transcended traditional client-designer relationships, evolving into insightful discussions that shaped every facet of the design. The result is a modern yet timeless aesthetic, seamlessly blending contemporary geometries with elements reflecting the owners' passions," he said.

Accommodation is configured as a large owner's cabin on the main deck with three VIP suites and two twin cabins. Pastel hues are used for the lower deck cabins, while the main saloon boasts a rich burgundy palette. "The upper deck saloon exudes a masculine elegance, showcasing a layout that caters to comfort and relaxation," Lumini added.

She is expected to have a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles at half load with a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Kaşif is one of three new launches by Bilgin set to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, alongside Leona and Eternal Spark.
