Canados has sold and begun construction on the first 42.95 metre fast expedition yacht Oceanic Yachts 140 Tri-Deck.
Sold to repeat client, the flagship of Canados’ Fast Expedition series is scheduled for delivery in March 2022.
Key features of the yacht include a triple engine configuration. Three Caterpillar C32 B Series engines will provide a top speed of 25 knots, range exceeding 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots or range of 800 nautical miles at 21 knots.
Elsewhere, the yacht’s 110-square metre aft deck features a Jacuzzi, sunpads, bar, dining room and day head. A tender bay for a six metre tender and toys sits amidship while a garage for the owner’s two electric cars will sit on the lower deck. When emptied, this garage can transform into a beach club.
The interior design has been penned by Michela Reverberi, who previously collaborated with Canados on the Canados 888 superyacht Passion VI.
Described as “elegant”, the interior will features materials such as stitched leather panels, bronze inserts and rosewood panels. The main deck meanwhile will be “dressed with a tatami textured European oak silver finished with gold dust”, according to the yard.
The salon, dining areas, galley, captain’s cabin and full beam wheelhouse will all sit on the main deck. Four guest cabins will sit on the lower deck along with the crew quarters while the upper deck will be dedicated to the owner’s suite, with a private aft deck and forward terrace equipped with a private Jacuzzi. The sun deck meanwhile will feature a sunpad, bar, sauna and bathroom.
