Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced the sale of a custom 45-metre explorer new build yacht to a repeat client.
Giorgio M. Cassetta is responsible for the yacht's exterior and interior design, which takes inspiration from the yard's 45.7-metre Tremenda - delivered last year and winner of a judges' commendation at the BOAT Design & Innovation Awards 2026 last week. Having previously owned a 33.2-metre Nauta Air 110, the owner was looking for a larger explorer yacht that would deliver the same “comfort, reliability and technical excellence” he enjoyed with the smaller CdM build.
According to the shipyard, she was drawn to Cassetta’s clean, uncluttered exterior design and spacious interior volumes - features he had valued on the Nauta Air - while working closely with the team to incorporate custom modifications.

"We have been entrusted with both exterior and interior design, and we are, as always, committed to meticulous research and the highest quality in our work. We aim to create a yacht that is consistent and harmonious throughout."
According to the designer, the owner requested a calm atmosphere on board filled with light and warmth and "defined by purity and softness".
He added: "I am personally grateful to everyone involved in making this project a reality, and I extend a special thank you to my team and the yard’s team for their proactive and swift approach to every aesthetic and technical challenge we faced throughout the final stages of the design. We look forward to sharing more about how the owners’ vision, the yard’s expertise and our contribution will shape another unique vessel.”

Vasco Buonpensiere, shareholder and CEO of CdM, shared what the new sale means for the shipyard: “I will never get tired of expressing how deeply grateful I am to those owners who choose to place their trust in us once again by purchasing a second yacht built by our shipyard. This decision represents far more than a repeat order: it is a powerful endorsement of our philosophy, our craftsmanship and the passion that drives every member of our team."
Buonpensiere continued: "Knowing that our work has met the expectations of such discerning and experienced owners is a source of immense pride and motivation. It confirms that our yachts not only meet but consistently exceed the requirements and aspirations of even the most demanding clients, and it reinforces our daily commitment to excellence, attention to detail and the creation of truly exceptional explorer yachts: definitely the key for our success and absolute leadership in our segment of the market.”
BOATPro amounts 11 yachts currently in build or on order at the shipyard. CdM announced the keel laying of the first unit from its new 33.5-metre RAW 110 (Recreational All-Weather Watercraft) explorer series late last year.
