Italian yard CRN has revealed a new explorer design called the AlfaRosso. The explorer is available in three lengths, 45, 50 and 55 metres, with a gross tonnage of 499GT for the 45 metre model.

Created for “an owner who loves long voyages of discovery to remote places,” the AlfaRosso has been designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. Sporting a “crisply designed hull profile", the explorer features ample open spaces paired with indoor comfort. The stern, lower deck and main deck have been purposefully designed as guest, rather than technical, areas, while steel handrails have replaced classic gunwales.

The explorer is available in three lengths; 45, 50 and 55 metres

The tender and toys storage is located in the bow area while the flush deck pool sits on the main deck.

Paszkowski’s design aims to bring guests “in closer contact with the sea” by removing “any barriers that might hinder the fullest enjoyment of the on-board experience”. Meanwhile the prominent use of teak creates a link “between tradition and innovation”.

Paszkowski explained, “Power on the water and a sensation of merging with the surrounding space are the keys to this design. AlfaRosso’s sharply defined architectural geometries embrace large indoor guest areas with generous windows that give a strong sense of continuity between inside and outside.”

CRN chief commercial officer Stefano De Vivio added: “Solidity on the water and a sense of being at one with the surrounding space were the principles underpinning the AlfaRosso design, in perfect harmony with the crisp styling by Francesco Paszkowski.”
