Italian shipyard and brand of Ferretti Group, Custom Line, has announced the launch of the latest hull from its Navetta 38 model.
The third 38.76-metre motor yacht hit the water in Ancona, Italy, at Ferretti Group’s superyacht yard, during an "intimate and emotionally charged" ceremony attended by the owner, their family and Custom Line employees.
Like her sisterships, the third motor yacht from the series features a sporty white exterior profile from long-time Custom Line collaborator, Filippo Salvetti, while the naval architecture was completed by Ferretti Group's product strategy and engineering departments.
Her interiors are penned by ACPV ARCHITECTS, Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, who worked alongside Custom Line atelier to define the spaces and style desired by the owners – "passionate admirers" of Ferretti Group with two previous builds from the Italian shipyard.
According to the yard, the owner favoured the combination of "sophisticated aesthetics, maximum on-board liveability and a real connection with the water" found on board the Navetta 38, deciding to make their newest yacht "more representative" of their personal style through her interiors.
Intending to maximise onboard space with functional yet stylish solutions, features such as mirror panels in the ceiling of the main saloon, side walls and architectural details have been used to bounce natural light around the interiors, fuelled by the extensive amount of floor-to-ceiling glazing across her profile. The yard also noted that one of the owner’s "most important requests" was the galley, with a focus on optimising the functionality of the crew operating areas without affecting the "aesthetic balance" and making the area more social.
While images remain private, Custom Line shared that the interiors themselves are adorned in a "simple yet sophisticated" colour scheme comprising beige, mocha and brown tones, which are offset against natural materials including teak, oak and leather. Focal points are found in the "luminous" tones of the wallpaper - in keeping with the model's "made-to-measure" style.
This marked the fifth launch of the year for Custom Line. The shipyard celebrated the launch of the latest 38.4-metre unit from its 120 series, designed by Francesco Paszkowski, in May.
