Italian shipyard Custom Line, a brand of Ferretti Group, has launched its latest 38.4-metre Custom Line 120 series superyacht. Named Someday, the yacht splashed on 20 April at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
The yacht, which is the ninth hull in the planing line series, is the work of the Ferretti Group Engineering department supported by Francesco Paszkowski Design for both the sporty and sleek exterior and interior styling.
The Custom Line Atelier worked in close collaboration with the owner, from the EMEA region, to curate the level of personalisation desired, resulting in a contemporary and minimalistic style. According to a statement by the shipyard, the design resulted in a “highly personalised space, in which every detail is a statement of aesthetics, design and made-to-measure elegance.”
She is home to elegant interior touches alongside the pairing of a light and dark colour palette, from stylish greys to warming hues of beige, bronze and brown. Renowned design brands have been chosen throughout the interior, showcasing materials such as Arabescato Carrara marble, leather and matte-effect lacquered wood.
Thanks to the large windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing on the deck, her design combines the interior and exterior, amplifying the natural light filtering through. Her interiors accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms, with space for seven crew.
Meanwhile, outside, her standout feature is the jacuzzi flanked by sunloungers for ultimate relaxation on the flybridge.
Power for the 271 GT yacht comes from a pair of MTU engines enabling a range of 1050 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her top speed is 25 knots with a crusing speed at 23 knots.
She is one of ten Custom Line 120 models and her launch follows on from the brand's smaller Custom Line 106 Ciao M that launched in April.
