Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting and brokerage firm TWW Yachts have announced the sale of the second hull from the yard's Xplorer 60 yacht model, with delivery scheduled for 2028. Data from BOATPro reveals that construction is already underway, having begun on spec in 2023.
According to the yard, the second hull has been sold to an owner with a "strong ambition to explore beyond conventional cruising grounds", who intends to use the yacht to support both private adventure and facilitate scientific research in some of the world’s most remote regions.
The yacht will follow the first from the series, After You, on the water, which was delivered in August 2025 alongside her 53-metre support vessel, Emotional. Like her sistership, hull two features an exterior design by Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture paired with custom interiors by H2 Yacht Design.

Alex Heyes of TWW Yachts, who represented the owner in the sale, commented: "This is the second consecutive Xplorer acquisition on which we have represented the owner with Damen Yachting, reflecting both the strength of the design and the growing appeal of the range. The owner brought a clear vision for how the yacht should support his fleet and future programme. Working closely with the owner, his representatives and Damen Yachting, we were able to align the yacht with that intended use."
The project has been developed with owner-focused living spaces for extended time on board and is said to combine comfort and functionality with the robust engineering expected from an expedition yacht. The layout spans three decks and includes accommodation for 12 guests in six suites alongside several lounging areas, including a forward observation lounge with 270-degree panoramic views.
A notable highlight of the model can be found outside, where a 195-square-metre multifunctional outdoor area sits below the helideck and can be customised as a Cabana Lounge, a dive and wellness deck or a storage area for tenders and expedition equipment. The yacht is set to deliver a 5,000-nautical-mile range and up to 30 days of autonomous cruising.
Jorrit Pilaar, commercial executive EMEA at Damen Yachting, concluded: “This sale is a strong endorsement of the Xplorer 60 design and of the momentum we are seeing across the Xplorer range. Owners are increasingly looking for yachts that can take them further and support a more varied programme. For this owner, the Xplorer 60 proved to be the right platform.”
The second hull will join After You and Emotional under TWW Yachts’ management.
