Deo Juvante unveils 40m explorer trimaran yacht concept TS40

New American brand Deo Juvante has unveiled a new 40-metre explorer trimaran yacht concept known as TS40.

The explorer has been developed to "redefine long-range cruising" and was penned in a trimaran configuration to deliver improved stability, manoeuvrability and "enhanced" seaworthiness.

As a result, the striking tri-hulled yacht is expected to cruise comfortably at around 20 knots with a range exceeding 3,000 nautical miles - though the brand anticipates the yacht to cover roughly 500 nautical miles within 24 hours. An eye-catching reverse bow, sharp pointed lines and unusual mint-green profile characterise TS40, alongside a superstructure that sits well towards the stern.

When it comes to interiors, designer Kurt Wallaeys has penned a layout emphasising flowing spaces, comfort and functionality for long stays on board. Accommodation includes multiple guest cabins, crew quarters and a large owner’s suite, curated to reflect the yacht’s multi-purpose as an explorer and a floating residence.

Other optional features on board include a helipad and expansive deck areas, which can be tailored to combine luxury with capability.

Deo Juvante also noted that "next-generation propulsion systems", which have been engineered to minimise vibration and noise, will add to the vessel's attributes. LOMOcean collaborated with the brand for the naval architecture.

The yard has also released a special edition artistic exterior design from the Quistrebert Brothers

"With the TS40, Deo Juvante continues its mission to create yachts inspired by real-world exploration, with vessels that prioritise safety, autonomy and meaningful travel experiences," said a spokesperson from the brand. "The result is a yacht designed not just for destinations, but for the journey itself: enabling owners to explore the world confidently while enjoying comfort, elegance and technical innovation."
