Sanlorenzo Americas sold hull No 1 of the new Sanlorenzo semi-displacement SD126 superyacht at the Miami International Boat Show earlier this year and has now released further details and images – including interior renderings – of the first yacht in its new series.
The 38m Sanlorenzo SD126 superyacht is inspired by the Italian builder's successful SD122 model, yet stands apart with some head-turning updates. These include a terrace off the main saloon, a new bow seating lounge area, an enlarged flybridge with a pool and hardtop, larger windows and an expanded swim platform.
A dining area with seating for 12 is in part of the main saloon, which can be fully opened up to the aft deck creating an indoor-outdoor living space. The semi-displacement SD126 yacht can accommodate 12 guests in five staterooms including the main-deck master, two VIP and two twin staterooms. Seven crew members are also accommodating; including in this is the upper deck captain's cabin found off of the pilothouse.
Interior design comes from US-based designer Marty A Lowe, working alongside the yacht's new owner. The interior decor will feature light-grey stained oak bulkheads and maple cabinets complemented by matte stainless steel and top stitched leather insert panels. A focus feature will be the dramatic stacked marble staircase wall, accompanied by marble finishes in the bathrooms. The master bath features a spa shower system from Dornbracht.
The first Sanlorenzo SD126 will be delivered in time to make her debut Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this October.
