The eighth hull in Benetti’s Fast 125 series has been delivered and named Bangadang.
It comes after the 38.1 metre yacht was sold in February 2018, with the Hong Kong buyer introduced by SuperYachtsMonaco. The broker also managed the project during construction.
Exterior styling comes courtesy of Stefano Righini, while the interior is finished in eucalyptus and bay, based on the Air configuration developed by British studio RWD.
The 349GT interior has accommodation for a total of 11 guests in five cabins, including a full beam master on the main deck. Three double cabins and a twin with a Pullman berth make up the rest of the guest accommodation. The lower deck crew quarters meanwhile allow for a staff of seven.
Key features on board Bangdang include a side-loading tender garage, large beach club with its own bar area and a sun deck equipped with a spa pool.
The propulsion system, which was developed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, consists of twin 2636hp MTU 12V2000 M96L engines for a top speed of 24 knots. It also features steerable carbon thrusters and takes up less space in the engine room than a traditional shaft-drive unit.
