Italian yard Extra Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has unveiled the X130 Triplex, the new flagship model in its Triplex line at 39.6 metres. The yacht follows in the footsteps of the X100 Triplex, which was introduced just last year and has already sold three units to date.
Long-standing collaborator Studio Agon is behind the exterior design of the all-aluminium build, with the Italian designer opting for "soft lines and bold geometry" that stays true to the yard's DNA. At the heart of this design is the mezzanine deck, which, raised just 90 centimetres above the main deck, offers an unobstructed view aft and two twin lounge areas, separated by a sculptural fireplace.
Accommodation is across nine cabins, including four double cabins with en suites, two VIP cabins with double beds and two twin cabins below deck. The main-deck owner's cabin has access to an office, vanity, en suite and large walk-in wardrobe, though an optional configuration that dedicates the entire upper deck to the owner is also available. Interiors are owed to Laura Brocchini Design, characterised by champagne and cream tones, marble detailing and warm lighting.
Interior convivial areas include the main saloon, arranged with two semicircular sofas and formal dining for 10 guests, and the skylounge with its lounge and bar. The sundeck is a major social hub, with guests able to enjoy a panoramic front lounge, an al fresco dining area, a large bar counter and two sunloungers that frame a sea-facing infinity pool. A more private set-up, complete with sofa seating, can be found in the upper deck cockpit.
The model's propulsion system relies on two 2,000hp MAN engines, which is expected to achieve a 16-knot top speed and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Other key specs include a beam of 8.4 metres and a gross tonnage of 397GT.
According to BOATPro, Extra Yachts has three projects under construction, all belonging to the X100 Triplex series. All three yachts are scheduled for delivery in 2027.
