Secretive 80m Feadship superyacht Project 716 enters outfitting

29 April 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

The 79.8-metre Feadship superyacht Project 716 has been sighted for the first time while leaving the construction shed in Papendrecht, the Netherlands. This marks a major milestone for the build, which will soon be transported to the yard's Aalsmeer site for outfitting works.

Very little is known about Project 716 so far. A steel hull, aluminium superstructure and volume of approximately 2,300GT have been confirmed by the yard, while the initial imagery reveals straight lines and a traditional tiered deck, including a spacious, uncluttered bow and partially sheltered sundeck.

According to BOATPro, the secretive superyacht's launch is scheduled for 2026. Further details will be revealed as the build progresses.

The news comes at a busy time for Feadship, with 18 superyacht projects currently under construction. The Dutch yard recently provided construction updates on the new 101-metre Moonrise, reportedly owned by WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum, the hybrid 79.9-metre Faith and its 80-metre Project Thalassa.
