Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design
History
With a background in industrial design, superyacht designer Sander Sinot founded Sinot Yacht Design in the late 1990s in his home country of Holland after a spell in New York working for the legendary industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss. Working to a philosophy that centres on seamlessly connecting interior design and exterior styling, the Sinot Yacht Design 30-strong team has subsequently built a formidable reputation, creating some of the most iconic superyachts afloat.
Notable yachts
With a large number of completed yachts, Sinot Yacht Design superyachts include Oracle CEO Larry Ellison’s Musashi, measuring 87.78 metres and build by Feadship, which features both Sinot interior design and exterior styling. The team was also responsible for the sistership Feadship_Fountainhead_. The Sinot design team also drew the exterior lines for Feaship’s 60.35 metre ROCK.IT, launched in 2014, and the Feadship F45 Harle.
Specialisations
Alongside several notable superyacht builds, the Sinot Yacht Design team have collaborated with a number of architects and yards to create stunning concepts from 45 metres to 137 metres in length. Recent Sinot yacht interior and exterior concepts include the 108.8-metre Pride Mega Yachts_Tomorrow_ and 115 metre Estatement. The studio has won awards for its work, including a 2012 ShowBoats Design Award for the interior of Musashi.
