Fourth Swan 98 sailing yacht sold

18 December 2020 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

Finnish sailing yacht specialist Nautor’s Swan has announced the sale of the fourth model from its Swan 98 superyacht series.

The sale of the fourth 31.05 metre sailing yacht was announced during a virtual press conference. It will be the first Swan 98 to feature the have the owner-forward layout.

It comes after the first hull in the series, Be Cool, hit the water for the first time earlier this year. The third Swan 98 is also due to hit the water in April 2021.

Designed by veteran Swan designer German Frers, the Swan 98 includes a number of customisation options that mean no two Swan 98s will be the same. One key opt-in feature is a telescopic keel which reduces the draught from 4.9 metres to 3.2 metres, allowing owners to enter shallower reefs and harbours.

Italian architect Misa Poggi has penned the interior  of customisable configurations. Accommodation is for a total of eight guests while the crew quarters includes two twin ensuite cabins for a staff of up to four people.
