Horizon Yachts Launches Second FD75 Yacht

21 October 2020

Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts has launched the second hull in its 22.86 metre FD75 series.

Designed specifically for the US market, the entry-level model has completed sea trials and is due for delivery in early December.

The main saloon

Designed by Cor D. Rover, the FD75 features a raised pilothouse configuration and is focused on large volumes and an open layout.

The four-stateroom layout provides accommodation for a total of eight guests in a full beam master cabin on the main deck and three additional guest cabins on the lower deck. There are a full beam VIP, single bed cabin to port and convertible twin cabin to starboard.

The flybridge

The crew quarters meanwhile sits aft of the engine room and accommodates a staff of two.

Elsewhere, the main saloon features large windows for far-reaching ocean views and an interior decorated in two toned white and silver oak wood with grey and blue furnishings. The galley meanwhile sits aft of the main deck alongside a formal dining area.

The open flybridge, complete with a bar, barbecue and freezer, is accessed from the pilothouse. The FD75 is equipped with twin Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines.

It comes after the first FD75 yacht debuted at the yard’s 2020 Open House earlier this year.
