Taiwanese shipyard Horizon presented three Fast Displacement (FD) models at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, including a brand new FD80 Skyline.
Held at the end of May on Australia’s eastern coast, the boat show was the perfect opportunity to unveil the newest yacht, which has been specifically tailored to the Australian market.
The FD80 range is known for its fresh look, with contemporary lines and a well-configured layout that balances interior and exterior spaces.
Speaking about the yacht’s interior design, the yard has mentioned “water-bleached walnut and dyed Koto as the main woods with brushed dark bronze metallic inlays as accents”.
The concept is described by the yard as “charcoal in snow, where modern, hi-tech materials - such as a backlit silver metallic wall feature - create accents reminiscent of a silver sky, clouds and snowflakes, and a floating lighting design mimics the warm glow from candles or a fireplace.”
In terms of accommodation, the newest FD80 Skyline is equipped with a four-cabin layout including an owner’s deck with a skylight. When not in their cabins, guests can enjoy entertainment on the 55” fold-down screen in the main saloon or stretch out on foredeck sunpads with integrated speakers.
Described by the yard as the “ultimate owner-operated boat”, the yacht has an impressive list of big-boat amenities including a fully-equipped beach club, a teppanyaki grill, and a large Jacuzzi spa tub.
It comes after the yard announced that its second 31m Horizon FD100 is now in build.
