Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts has sold the 12th hull in its FD87 series to experienced American owners.
The equipment, layout and interior styling of the 27.45 metre yacht, which is currently in the early stages of construction, will be customised to suit the owners’ tastes.
The yacht will feature an enclosed bridge, main deck master and three lower deck cabins for a total capacity of eight guests.
The fourth lower deck cabin meanwhile will be converted into a laundry and storage area to facilitate long journeys.
Other features include a main deck bar and large storage locker in place of the usual starboard staircase.
The interior will be styled in walnut woodwork and plentiful natural light thanks to large windows. A convertible dining table large enough to seat six to eight guests will sit also on the main deck.
Power will come from a pair of MTU 10V2000M96L 1600hp engines. The yacht will also feature a 1400GPD watermaker, bow and stern thrusters and Zero-Speed stabilisers.
It comes after the builder launched two 33.53 metre RP110 yachts in April this year. Wild Duck and The Legion were delivered to their owners shortly afterwards.
