Horizon Yacht is scheduled to deliver its fifth P130 motor yacht, Angara, to her new owners in Europe this summer – the 41.4m superyacht will be shipped from Horizon in mid-May and arrive in Malta around June 5th.
The new tri-deck completed her continuous 24-hour open ocean sea trial on April 30th, 2011, with excellent results. Equipped with Twin CAT C32A 1,800hp engines, Angara can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots under full load in open sea conditions. While cruising at a comfortable 12 knots, total fuel consumption with twin 86KW generators and the main engines at cruise with full load is less than 230 liters per hour.
Angara will be showcased at at the upcoming Rendezvous in Monaco, where she will debut for the first time during the June 23rd to 26th 2011 event.
