Horizon Yachts announced the sale of the latest unit in its popular Cor D. Rover-designed FD90 series.
Launched and sold at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the 27.5-metre yacht is the first in the series configured with a split-use skylounge.
Accommodation is across four cabins, including a main-beam, main deck master which benefits from a his and hers en suite, raised vanity and built-in "royal window". There is also a multifunctional laundry room – able to convert into a spare cabin when needed – and crew quarters for five.
Styled in-house, the contemporary living spaces incorporate washed wenge ceilings complemented by "silk grey" lacquer accents and European oak brushed floors. The main saloon features an L-shaped settee and built-in glassware storage, connected to an al fresco television lounge and wet bar via sliding glass doors. In another first for the FD90, the yacht is also designed with an open galley, fitted with Cambria Brittanicca stonework and a laminated silk glass partition, allowing some privacy for the chef.
The skylounge offers U-shaped sofa seating, a full bar (with four stools and Corian White Onyx countertop) and a fold-down television. Further aft, a sheltered seating area with barbecue can accommodate up to 14 guests. The shaded foredeck is another communal space with its U-shaped dinette and fold-up sunpads.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, the FD90 is expected to have a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots. Her last known asking price was $11,500,000.
This follows the recent delivery of the 33.9-metre Crowned Eagle, the fifth unit in Horizon's FD110 series.
