Palumbo has released the first pictures of the completed aluminium hull of the Columbus Sport 130’ Hybrid motor yacht, which the Italian yard is building for a Russian owner in Naples.
As we reported in an earlier update, the 40m yacht has naval architecture by Hydro Tec and will have a hybrid propulsion system allowing the yacht to run on generators at low speeds and ensuring its environmental impact is minimised. Designed to be spacious, open and relate to the sea, the yacht will have large windows, sliding doors and opening bulwarks. Hot Lab is responsible for creating an elegant interior using a variety of natural materials and a warm palette.
The planned delivery date is now September 2013.
