22 July 2013 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

In 2012, Bilgin Yachts signed a contract to build a 49.9m motor yacht called Alfulk, and now her hull has been launched, ready for completion.

Designed by H2 Yacht Design, she features a traditional bow compared to the yard's previous build M with her reverse x-bow, and Alfulk will be powered by twin 1,650hp Caterpillar 3512C engines, giving her a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. There will be accommodation for up to 12 guests in a master suite, a VIP stateroom and four double cabins. Delivery is scheduled for 2014.
