Inace Superyachts presents new 40m model Explora 131

26 March 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Inace Superyachts has presented a new, 40-metre expedition model known as the Explora 131.

The RINA-classed yacht belongs to the Brazilian shipyard's Explora range, characterised by a robust design that incorporates plumb bows and large open spaces to maximise toy, tender and equipment storage.

Sergio Cutolo is responsible for the Explora 131's "imposing silhouette", while naval architecture is owed to Fernando de Almeida.

The yacht has a 8.4-metre beam

Accommodation is for up to 14 guests and eight crew, including an owner's cabin located forward of the main deck. The cabin is en suite and features a vanity desk, dedicated office and television. This deck also has the main saloon, an indoor dining area and a galley. Sliding glass doors lead to an al fresco dining space and access to a swim platform with sunloungers.

The upper deck is where the skylounge is found, alongside the helm and captain's cabin. Tender and toy storage is aft, including space for two Jet Skis, while dive gear will be stored on the lower deck. An alternative al fresco lounge will be installed in the bow for far-flung ocean views forward.

Renderings reveal what looks like a Jacuzzi and sunloungers on the sundeck

The Explora 131 will have a maximum speed of 12 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro, Inace Superyachts has two units currently under construction; a 46-metre due to be delivered in 2026 and a 32-metre to be delivered this year.
