Italian shipyard Next Yacht Group has revealed the first look inside AB Yachts' Casa Bri Mare, the third hull in its 39.7-metre AB 130 series. Built for an experienced owner, the yacht has been customised around family life and entertaining, combining a 41-knot top speed with flexible living spaces and a direct connection to the sea.
The yard noted that the layout has also influenced the next AB 130, which is currently under construction and is scheduled for delivery at the beginning of the 2027 season.
The project was designed entirely in-house by AB Yachts, with the shipyard responsible for both the exterior and interior. Across the yacht, warm neutral tones are paired with tactile materials and bespoke detailing, including Alcantara, metallic accents, pearl-lacquered storage and light brown parquet flooring.
The approximately 63-square-metre main saloon brings the living and dining areas together in a single open-plan space, creating visual continuity between the two areas.
Travertine and onyx feature prominently throughout the main living areas. Backlit onyx-clad columns form part of the lighting scheme, while a bespoke dining table is topped with travertine marble.
The bathrooms introduce pearlescent lacquered panelling and Emperador marble, while Marine Leather created three-dimensional stitching for the customised headboards.
Aft, the al fresco space is arranged for both dining and relaxation, with a dining table and seating, sofa, sunpads and Jacuzzi. The 30-square-metre bathing platform can be extended with two fold-down wings, adding approximately six square metres on either side to create a larger waterside area. A twin tender garage is integrated into the stern, alongside storage and handling systems for water toys.
Casa Bri Mare accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins on the lower deck. The approximately 36-square-metre master suite includes a dressing area and has been configured to the owner's requirements, with an additional bed/sofa that can be separated from the main space when required. The en suite bathroom has separate his-and-hers washbasins.
Two VIP cabins and a twin guest cabin complete the accommodation, each with its own en suite bathroom.
One of the more unusual additions is a 12-square-metre playroom, created by converting an additional guest cabin. The room is primarily intended as a cinema, with a double-height volume and a glazed overhead panel bringing in natural light. A blackout blind can be lowered for screenings, while soft leather upholstery has been used on the corners with safety in mind.
The space can also be adapted into a gym, with room for an exercise bike or treadmill, or used as a combined study and gym as the owner's requirements change.
The same material palette extends into the galley and crew dinette, with the spaces designed to offer the crew a similar level of finish to the guest areas.
Meanwhile, up top, the approximately 58-square-metre sundeck has been divided into four areas: an outdoor helm station, an alfresco dining area, a bar and a sunbathing.
The helm station was developed as a bespoke design for the yacht, while the dining area can accommodate up to 10 guests around a table and sofa. A bar provides a setting for drinks with panoramic views, with sunpads completing the deck.
The composite yacht is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each producing 2,600hp, for a combined output of 7,800hp. Two steerable MJP waterjets and a central booster propel Casa Bri Mare to a top speed of 41 knots.
A gyro stabiliser operates both at anchor and underway, while the yacht has a range of approximately 450 nautical miles at cruising speed. The yacht is also prepared for the installation of SCR systems.
The yacht also comes as AB Yachts continues to expand its high-performance offering. At the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, the Italian builder and German mobility brand BRABUS presented the first 33.7-metre BRABUS AB 110, the centrepiece of a new three-model collaboration that also includes the 28.9-metre BRABUS AB 95 and 45.7-metre BRABUS AB 150. The latter is due to make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2027.
