Jade 90 superyacht now launched

Yesterday, November 29th, saw the launch of the 10th hull in the Jade 90 series, with project management by Ocean Independence.

MCA compliant, this 26.7m explorer motor yacht will be available for charter in the Western Mediterranean next summer season. The owner’s stateroom is on the main deck, and below are two twin or double guest cabins plus one twin guest cabin that will serve as a gym when the owners are on board – the beds tuck away in the bulkheads when the cabin is used as a gym.

Add a proper bridge, the lovely bridge deck saloon and a truly large sun deck with bar and Jacuzzi, ABT zero speed stabilizers, transatlantic range and the Jade 90 proves herself to be a true little ship.

Peter Hurzeler, Managing Partner of Ocean Independence comments: ‘She was ordered by Swiss clients of mine and delivery is scheduled to take place in January 2012.’

‘Jade Yachts has not only been very competitive in its pricing at the beginning, but has since always met or even surpassed our expectations in terms of scope of specification and, indeed, quality. Workmanship, attitude and cleanliness are as close to a Northern European shipyard as it can get – the price is not.’

‘Of course, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, so we reserve final judgment until after delivery, but so far this has been a outstandingly positive experience for the future owners and us.’
