The first 30.48 metre Maiora 30 Convertible yacht has hit the water.
The new model presented by Italian builder Maiora is named ‘convertible’ for its upper deck, which is divided into an enclosed skylounge and open-air area.
The skylounge includes a 50 square metre saloon that can be used as a cinema room or “terrace by the sea”, the builder said.
The main deck saloon is illuminated in natural light thanks to floor to ceiling windows and leads back to the aft cockpit, a spacious area large enough for eight guests to dine. The area is open to customisation, with the first hull featuring a “hot sauna on the sea” as requested by the owner.
Guest accommodation is for a total of 12 guests across a main deck master and two VIPs and two twins, both equipped with a Pullman bed, on the lower deck. The crew quarters meanwhile comprise three cabins, dinette and laundry area.
Power comes from twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines 2600hp for a top speed of 28 knots.
It comes after the launch of the Maiora 30 Walkaround Infinity yacht earlier this year.
