Italian shipyard Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has announced the sale of the third unit from the Mangusta GranSport 34 to a UK owner. The 33.9-metre yacht's sale was completed with Sea-Alliance Group and has an expected delivery date of summer 2027.
The Mangusta GranSport 34 builds upon the brand's highly successful Mangusta GranSport 33 line, which has 12 units delivered to date, and has been penned with improved performance and a "fine-tuned" design from Overmarine's Engineering Department and Monaco-based designer Alberto Mancini.
“After chartering for many years, this client was looking for a yacht that would turn him and his family into boat owners in their own right," said co-founder of Sea-Alliance Group, Roy Klajman, who worked alongside the yard to secure the sale. "The Mangusta GranSport 34 offered the perfect balance: easy management and manoeuvrability flawlessly combined with volumes, comfort, and a layout normally found on larger yachts, which made it the ideal yacht to comfortably cruise the Mediterranean Sea."

The model is characterised by a sporty profile and flexible interiors, the latter of which have been designed to ensure comfortable transitions between cruising, relaxation and conviviality, according to the yard. Accommodation is across a 40-square-metre main-deck master suite, while four guest cabins and three crew cabins are situated on the lower deck.
The sale of the third new build unit from the line comes less than a month after the second unit's sale was also announced.
Mangusta Yachts sales manager Nicolò Strocco added: “We are very proud to be announcing the sale of the third Mangusta GranSport 34 to a client from the UK, just a few weeks after the second unit of the line was sold to a Turkish owner. This model offers great versatility, generous volumes, and a constant contact with the sea – all features that are increasingly appreciated by owners."
The Mangusta GranSport 34 is powered by four Volvo Penta IPS engines, designed to ensure reduced consumption, vibrations and noise, as well as easy manoeuvrability. The expected maximum speed is 24 knots, in addition to a "considerably long" range.
According to BOATPro, Overmarine Group has 24 yachts currently on order or under construction, including the first unit in its flagship Oceano 52 line.
