Italian shipyard Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has announced the sale of the second unit from the Mangusta GranSport 34 series to an experienced Turkish owner. The 33.9-metre yacht's sale was completed with BTWO Marine and has an expected delivery date of 2026.
The Mangusta GranSport 34 is said to build upon the brand's smaller yet highly successful Mangusta GranSport 33 line, penned with improved performance and a "fine-tuned" design from Overmarine's Engineering Department and Monaco-based designer Alberto Mancini.
The line is said to boast features more frequently found on larger yachts, with generous indoor and outdoor spaces crafted to offer constant visual contact with the surrounding landscapes. Accommodation is for 12 guests across five cabins, comprising a 40-square-metre main deck master suite, and two VIP and two guest cabins on the lower deck. There are three further quarters for crew.
"The sale of the second Mangusta GranSport 34 is not merely a commercial achievement; it confirms that the most aware owners recognise the value of this yacht, capable of combining fast-displacement performance, refined comfort and timeless beauty," said BTWO Marine's Omer Balkan, the Mangusta sales representative for Turkey.
Mangusta sales manager Nicolò Strocco added: “This result reflects not only the strong demand for the Mangusta GranSport 34, but also the increasingly important role of the Turkish market for Mangusta and, more in general, for the entire yachting industry.”
Power for this unit will come from four Volvo Penta 1,000hp engines and an IPS pod system, designed to ensure easy manoeuvrability and reduced consumption, vibrations and noise. The expected maximum speed is 24 knots.
The yard celebrated the sale of the first in-build unit earlier this year. According to BOATPro, Overmarine Group has 24 yachts currently on order or under construction.
