Ocean Independence and Amels announce that the 55m motor yacht Engelberg has taken to the water, on schedule for her official naming ceremony and delivery to her owner at the end of May 2013.
Says the owner's broker, Jeroen Minnema, 'The yacht took to the water for finishing in early March and the charcoal grey hull and whisper grey superstructure look smart and stylish, but the added signature line in an orange tint made exclusively for the owner, really give a little extra verve to the elegant Tim Heywood lines of the yacht.'
Amels managing director Rob Luijendijk commented 'We too are pleased with the good looks of our new lady, but equally the customised areas have been a great success. We incorporated ideas that brought more space to the interior, greater accessibility to the sun and sea, including: the widebody sky lounge, the folding balconies on the main deck, the easy access stairs folding out off the swim platform and the extra large sun deck engineered for a Touch & Go helipad, to name a few.'
