First look inside flagship Numarine explorer yacht Miouch

Turkish shipyard Numarine has offered a look inside its first 40MXP model, Miouch, which was delivered in August of this year.

An evolution of Numarine's popular 37XP model, Miouch retains the yard's "high-volume, low-maintenance and long-range" ethos in a larger package. As the flagship build, the 39.1-metre sets herself apart by her extended aft decks and upper deck glass-fronted dip pool.

Both interior styling and exterior lines for the model are by Turkish studio Can Yalman, who, on board Miouch, has utilised a predominantly neutral colour palette decorated with warm leathers and woods.

An owner's brief to "keep interiors bright, contemporary and inviting, while maximising the flow of natural light" encouraged loose, sculptural furniture and minimalist stylings on board, all of which have been carefully decorated around the yacht's expansive windows. Outside, nautical pops of blue have been added to offset the playful, grey furniture.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six suites, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck and two additional customisable cabin spaces.

Meaning "Mediterranean Explorer", the MXP model is designed to "reflect the beach club lifestyle" typical of Mediterranean cruisers. The interiors onboard Miouch have been penned with this in mind, with the desired atmosphere on board the 40MXP curated to be relaxed and inviting.

According to the yard, the 40MXP superyacht is a "true global explorer" with a transatlantic range of 6,000 miles at eight knots thanks to an optimised hull form developed by Umberto Tagliavini and twin 800hp MAN engines.

The key difference between the series is that the beach club and garage seen on the 37MXP have been replaced with a full-beam hydraulic swim platform for direct access to the water. Miouch is also two metres longer than her predecessor, with the extra space given to the aft deck, making room for a large al fresco dining area, a bar, a lounge and an aft pool with a glass transom. An extendable awning offers shade when needed.

“The 40MXP has already been met with enthusiasm from the market, with strong interest from both existing Numarine clients and new owners who value its unique positioning between a rugged explorer and a lifestyle-driven superyacht," said Numarine's chairman, Ömer Malaz.

The flagship build is also capable of storing a nine-metre tender and two Jet Skis, with room for additional water sports toys

Malaz added: “It [the 40XP] demonstrates our ability to innovate within the explorer yacht category, continually pushing boundaries in design, comfort and functionality. Above all, it showcases our strength as a boutique shipyard: flexible enough to tailor each yacht to its owner, yet consistent in delivering robust engineering, efficiency and signature style. The 40MXP confirms that we are leaders in combining long-range capability with contemporary luxury."

The shipyard also revealed that there are "several additional units" of the model currently under construction, two of which are scheduled for delivery in 2026.

This first inside look comes a month after the delivery of the second unit from the series, Mitan.
